EM-138 is a compact panel-mounted bar graph meter with a 30-segment LED display. It provides a clear visual indication of industrial analog signals and supports both standard 4–20 mA current-loop signals and 0–10 V voltage signals.
The selected input signal is displayed using red-orange LEDs against a black background with white markings. Galvanic isolation between the supply and signal stages helps prevent direct electrical connection between the power supply circuit and the measured signal circuit.
The EM-138 supports two commonly used industrial signal ranges:
The required measuring range is selected using a switch located on the rear panel. The current input has an input resistance of 60 Ω, while the voltage input has an input impedance of 100 kΩ.
The measured value is presented using a 30-segment LED bar graph. Each display step represents approximately 3.3% of the full measuring range.
The display is updated three times per second, providing a stable and easily readable indication for slowly changing industrial process signals.
Zero and gain trimmers are provided for matching the display to the measured signal. Both adjustments have a range of approximately 10%.
The range selector and adjustment trimmers are located on the rear panel of the device, allowing calibration after the meter has been connected to the signal source.
The signal input is protected against overvoltage and overcurrent. The supply circuit is galvanically isolated from the signal stage, with a specified isolation voltage of 500 V between the supply and signal circuits.
The EM-138 is designed for panel installation using a 92 × 21 mm panel cut-out. The external dimensions of the meter are 96 × 24 × 70 mm.
The display uses red-orange LEDs. The front background is black and the scale markings are white, providing good contrast and visibility.
