EM-247C-JS1 is a full-bridge DC-motor starter designed for joystick-controlled motor applications. The driver provides smooth and reliable motion with adjustable acceleration and deceleration ramps, ensuring controlled starts and stops. Its adjustable current limit protects the motor from overcurrent and can also serve as an end-stop limiter.
The FAULT terminal acts as both input and output. It is normally high but pulled low in overheat or overcurrent conditions. Pulling the FAULT line low externally stops the motor and prevents restart. Multiple units can be interconnected via their fault pins for synchronous stop functionality.
Parameters can be configured using various EM interface units. The operation of the controller and selected functional values can also be monitored through these interfaces.
